In the areas that you recommend as far as zoom and Aperature? 40 or 50 mm, 3-10, 3-9, etc. ..

Why? Hunting?
You have to discover a list of some good weapons here that your AT, and then decide which are best.
Just as a good source of information, Remington by many (including me) as the price damn accurate and correct a gun.
Leupold Can not be beat for quality and warranty. I bet that would ensure an employee with tire tracks on them!
More Aperature the best collection of light.
be the rest of the variables, the scope is versitle.
"Hunting eyes on high power, then" if you have a high power setting for hunting, shooting can be lost in the skin
30.06 is a great round. (30 Cal-changed in 1906)

I type my Ruger, M77 is the start safer and usually lead with a goal, pushed for the violation of your local area. As for the fields, you can not beat Leupold. and 50 mm for the front lens low light, if you tend to see the deer.
