Call for fertility ban for obese

Very obese women should be denied fertility treatment, experts say.
The British Fertility Society recommends that women with a BMI of 36 or more should not be allowed, access to the treatment of infertility.

The women were underweight, and those that should be classified as obese (BMI over 29) are forced to their weight before starting treatment address, the company said.

Obese women are less likely to become pregnant and more likely to suffer health problems

Obesity can protect both the health of mother and child at risk through problems such as gestational diabetes and hypertension are.

I agree that context is a free service. If you receive medical assistance, treatment does not save the life of freedom, you must be responsible for the preparation for the treatment in the best possible health for the success.

And, yes, sure, there may be health problems associated with overweight pregnant women .. for herself and baby.

However, if the woman wants to pay for treatment themselves, and all the complications occur, in the same so that there is a different situation. But if the government paid for that, I think it is appropriate to make these kinds of restrictions position.

And hey, Americans ... If you are an advocate of universal health care, take note. Is when the government is responsible for his health, then they will think they have the right to dictate, will be billed as a medical supply ... and for whom.

PPL should be rejected or accepted by their personal performance and not on a sliding scale that tells you when a person is big or small. just because someone has a BMI over 36 does not mean that the bombers are in bold in the range of body mass index is from my husband is overweight, but because he was a bodybuilder, l "on the Body Mass Index is not possible to to precisely measure body fat, should meet every doctor, whether a treatment or should not go forward and lifestyle factors can influence the BMI score wrong.

I must say that I completely agree. In order to become pregnant should be in good health could not be better for you and baby. Although I believe that overweight people can be healthy if someone considered clinically obese and put great effort into your body that a pregnancy would not be feasible.

I've also heard that smokers are under attack ...

I totally agree, do not see why we should the money from the NHS are already on the fixing of self-inflicted damage to these people use,

The treatment must be spared for those who no effort to eat healthily, etc., but of course I can not imagine ...

Not those who seemingly everything done to her body with over eating and smoking and then complain about the attack when the possible impact and are nearly sterile

XXX

EDIT

In response to the "lady" obese people are not necessarily a different race or poverty, "forced to treat infertility," the argument is wrong ... the obese and smokers of the health of the power of evil .. and I do not see why we are to cover the damage.

Am I completely agree.

The same is true for persons in need, ethics, liver transplants or heart transplants. You have to fit a medical indication.

Obese women are at increased risk for gestational diabetes, among many other risks that healthy BMI of 36 - women.

These physical complaints at the end of the system of health care costs (the taxpayers), and may even risk the health of your baby.

If women really serious about being a mother and then goes through the process to ensure that they take physically the best way to care for your baby's born and unborn!

I know that the average size of many women who are in my opinion, poor mothers. Why not come to him?
Perhaps they are overweight or underweight because of his depression caused by the fact that they can not be pregnant? It seems a little unfair that the rate only by its size, but not their ability to have a father.

Personally, I do not think IVF should be on the NHS for free anyway. In England, some cancer patients, you can certain medications because of cost, infertility is not a disease. If you can not afford IVF, as you can afford a child?

Edited to say - Magnet Man, I wanted no children. That is why I prefer a woman with breast cancer can no drugs that have life, because the NHS can not extend to their advantage, but a healthy woman IVF. I know I should go NI contributions. Maybe I'm not selfish!

obese women are infertile because of their obesity. increase with a net loss of their fertility levels would be. And if they are too lazy to try to lose weight, why are treated health care. his own stomach with bands or whatever they're also known forever. Why can eat no fat, are evaluated. Why the NHS to do their job for them.

I am surprised that women were overweight or smoking to get IVF treatment - makes the treatment work less and it is a waste of money.
The interest in their own health and take some responsibility before the taxpayer's money.

Those who have no influence on their own weight, to show that everything she's inability to see oneself in order to manage their health and their lifestyles. If you do not care for themselves, they can certainly not the best for the baby and a good model. A baby is not a toy you buy in the NHS. It is an accessory or a meal ticket. In fact, the NHS should not sell the business to babies at taxpayer expense. If we do not naturally so he will not be expected. The absence of a child is to be a life-threatening. If the psychological pressure is a problem that must also apply to NHS growth hormones, breast augmentation, nose and pay Botox.
But since tthey not have to pay for the chosen method to any money from people who are difficult to fund IVF or any other work. The world is full of people, not increase his back long enough to earn a living full.

A mother is a mother, no matter how big or small, young or old.

People should stop being so rude and discriminatory, and think about how it feels to be, not to say that a mother can be, because "they are too big or too small, or you're too old or you're too young.

You can not call someone who will not even having the chance to an unfit mother. But no matter.

Who can have gestational diabetes and hypertension during pregnancy, gestational diabetes, I am a size 12 and was pregnant when I was 16, I had gestational diabetes, because it was too big or too young, that just happened as they pass through different can.

No doctor has the right to say that someone can not be a mother, it's wrong, and I can not think of a judge, saying that the doctor has the power to decide who is the mother and it is not.

The following are obese mothers who become pregnant, of course, be advised to have an abortion because of the possible cureor risks? There will be a public outcry, where, why deny IVF to be different?

If you have weight problems, it's okay to get help, but nobody should be denied the right to be parents.
